We haven't entered a league but may play the occasional friendly during the season (11 aside) and will definitely enter one or two Tournaments in May/June 2021. U14s GIRLS SPONSOR TBA |
Summary 2019/20 Season as U13s GIRLS
Another season of hard work and perseverance, with the girls continuing to develop their footballing skills as we worked towards the tournament season. It was fantastic to see many of them play in the Wallingford school team, and for football to play a greater part in their lives. With their enthusiasm and commitment, they have been a pleasure to coach, and we are all very much looking forward to returning to training whenever it is safe to do so.

Summary 2018/19 Season as U12s GIRLS
Having started out about 18 months ago when a group of then Year 6 girls at Cholsey Primary school decided that they would like to play football, and asked me if I would be their coach/ manager, it has been an enjoyable year for the Bluebirds u12 girls. We’ve survived the jump to secondary school, and most of the girls have continued. We’ve gained some, lost some, but we are left with a fantastic core who turn up every Sunday morning for training, with smiles on their faces and a willingness to learn (once they’ve caught up on the gossip – they are 11/12 after all!). Due to other commitments, we didn’t enter a league this season, but we did enter our first tournament – 8 of them played at Crowmarsh in early June. Well, I couldn’t have been more proud. They were brilliant. They worked hard, played fair, put their tackles in, took players on, and just did their absolute best against 3 teams who had more experience (and more experienced coaches!).
