Our weekend Tournament was once again a fantastic success with 173 teams entering (most have been coming year after year), each playing a minimum of 5 games in the group stages. We pride ourselves of ensuring teams have as much match time as possible. A total of 618 matches were played on our 12 pitches - includes 4 smaller pitches with smaller goals for the youngest age groups, Under 7s / 8s / 9 / 10s.
We had the capacity for up to 21 teams in each age group and some filled up extremely quickly. Glenn Hawkins, our Chairman and Tournament Co-ordinator, was his usual highly organised and extremely efficient self - infamous for his very strict timekeeping and, as always, firmly placed the emphasis of the whole weekend on enjoyment and respect - for players, parents, supporters and officials alike.
The weather was excellent, no rain over the weekend and plenty of sunshine although it was rather "fresh" first thing on the Sunday morning. As well as all the exciting matches, there was a large slide and bouncy castle for the youngsters, hardest shot competition for different ages with prizes and a huge variety of refreshments - including a superb BBQ, delicious ice-creams, home-made cakes, tasty rolls, refreshing drinks and succulent sweets. There was also the RAFFLE MAN - you may just about have heard his voice ! On behalf of the Club we would like to express our very sincere thanks
to the players, parents, managers, supporters and the referees for making this year's Tournament yet another successful and very enjoyable weekend for everyone. _________________________________________________________________________
OUR RAFFLE raised £750 : there were 45 prizes worth around £1200 on offer

The draw took place at 6:30pm on Sunday at the Raffle Stall in front of a number of people - referees, parents & others. Different Referees helped make the draw. Tickets were drawn out in the order below.
