My football skills are legendary - I once broke a fellow manager's ribs during a coaching course - no one messes with me ! My organisation skills are second to none but I do have the occasional lapse of memory from time to time - ask the wife . . . . what's her name ! I have been Chairman for the past 10 years and during that time I'm very proud to say that the Club has continued to go down hill at a very fast pace ! Sorry, I mean up hill - I can get also confused from time to time . . . . also. As you will understand from the above, as well as a keeness in football, the only other criteria you need to join the Bluebirds is . . . . a sense of humour ! Enjoy your time with us. |

In my dreams I'm a keen golfer, and although looking very happy in the photo (left), my skills lack a certain finesse - I've just been awarded the wooden spoon - so I'll stick to football. |

I then took charge of my own team as a manager in 2005 until 2012 - having a great time and feeling very proud as the children developed both individually and as a team. Along the way I gained my UEFA B coaching badge (level 3 in new money) and also qualified as a referee. I have been the welfare officer for the last 5 years (I think) - time flies when you have so much fun. |

I retired from Primary School teaching some 4 years ago and have always had an interest in IT. Following the departure of our previous website secretary a couple of years ago, a long time supporter of the Bluebirds, David Dewey, has set up this new website and I have volunteered to manage it in the future. Any ideas and suggestions for improving or expanding it will be most welcome. |
